Where It Started

Sora began in a small apartment kitchen — with a double boiler, a notebook full of scent ideas, and an obsession with the way certain smells make you feel completely present.

I wasn't trying to start a candle brand. I was trying to bottle a feeling.

The first batch was a fig and sea salt blend I made for myself after a trip to the coast. I lit it on a Tuesday evening, and for a moment, I was back there — bare feet, golden hour, the kind of quiet that feels like a gift.

I gave a few jars to friends. They asked for more. And then more after that.

That's when I knew this was something worth sharing.

Every Sora candle is hand-poured in small batches using natural wax and carefully sourced fragrance oils. No assembly lines. No shortcuts.

Each pour is intentional — the temperature, the timing, the way the scent layers settle as the wax cools. It's slow work, and that's exactly the point.
